We will be hosting a
Quilt Show. The
kickoff for our show will be in November during the Brockway Christmas
Gathering and go through December 21, 2006.
Call 265-8245 to register your quilt. The first 20 entries called in
will be accepted. One quilt per individual will be shown and display
waivers will need to be signed.
Quilts to be displayed may be brought to the
library Thursday, November 9, 2006 from 1 pm to 4 pm.
The library will place plastic covers over the quilts and we will
display who owns the quilt and who quilted the quilt. If the quilt is for
sale we will display the name, address and phone number of the person
selling the quilt. Quilts
will be on display until Thursday, December 21, 2006 and can be picked up
that day between 1 pm and 4 pm.
The
library will also raffle off a Quilt made by Wilma Hutchins
for $2.00 per chance and the winning ticket will be drawn on December 21,
2006 at 4 pm.
